For Christmas, the wonderful students I work with gave me a fabric.com gift card. I thought that was the sweetest thing because really, they didn’t need to do that at all! It came with a sweet thank you card where everyone left a little message for me. My heart was melting and yes, I had tears in my eyes.
Let me preface this post by saying that even though this piece looks fairly easy to make, I think it is very difficult to get the fit juuuust right. There’s a reason why the original is selling like hot cakes because fitting this at home is a challenge!

I’m on a roll! Getting sewing projects done two days in a row is very unusual for me.
This semester is easily the busiest I have had. It is also my last. I will graduate in May and that means, writing my capstone, writing all the other regular class assignments, and looking for a job.
