Review – Jocole Ladies Skinny Pants

Jocole Ladies Skinny Pants - petite full length

The Jocole Ladies Skinny pant pattern is suitable for beginners – all you have to be able to do is measure yourself, cut fabric, and keep track of front and back pieces. The pattern offers a long version (both for petite, tall, and regular length), as well as a capri, bermuda, and shorts version.

If you have worked with pdf patterns before and loathed finding the line that is your size, search no further. This pattern comes with a layer option that lets you decide which size line to print – all of them, a few, or only one. I LOVED that option!

The pants are held up by a knit waistband in three size options (skinny, regular, or fold over). In addition,  you have the option of adding front and back pockets.

While I am not a fan of skinny pants (mostly because store bought pants never fit me), making my OWN skinnies was amazing! I found the process of making these pants super easy. I did both the petite full length and bermuda length and have to say that the fit is great, and these truly are the first skinnies on me that I like. It was also my first time adding pockets – worked out like a charm, just follow the very clear instructions.

Overall, I recommend these pants. If you find yourself in between sizes, make a muslin first to ensure a good fit. You can buy the pattern here.
