I love making things for babies. When friends of ours recently announced that their nursery colors were gray, white, and pink, I knew I had just the right fabric to make something. I didn’t want to go overboard so I created a little name banner. But as life will have it, I wasn’t allowed to mention the name to anyone else before her birth.
So listen up world, baby Kinley is in this world and here is my little gift to her:
I put fusible interfacing on the pink fabric, drew the letters on it (mirrored) and then cut out the letters. Then I fused it to the felt backing and zigzagged around the letters to add an accent. To connect the letter squares, I made buttonholes (my first buttonholes! SO EASY! not sure why I didn’t make any before…) on each square and tied it together with satin ribbon. This is too cute!
Welcome to this world baby Kinley!
